KEEP YOUR EXISTING PERSONALIZATION
Keep your current personalized/ "vanity" tag, provided it FITS THE NEWLY CHOSEN PLATE CONFIGURATION (see below). 1. CHOOSE YOUR SPECIALTY PLATE AND PLACE YOUR ORDER. 2. You will be directed to input your registration information. INDICATE ON THE REDEMPTION FORM THAT YOU WANT TO 'KEEP YOUR EXISTING PERSONALIZATION'. 3. YOU WILL KEEP YOUR EXISTING PLATE AND REPLACE IT WITH THE PERSONALIZED PLATE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT (6-8 weeks). |

Choose your own characters to personalize your tag, provided it FITS THE PLATE CONFIGURATION (see below). 1. CLICK HERE TO CHECK AVAILABILITY OF YOUR CHOSEN PERSONALIZATION - make sure it fits the plate configuration for the specialty plate you choose (see below). 2. CHOOSE YOUR SPECIALTY PLATE AND PLACE YOUR ORDER. 3. You will be directed to input your registration information. INDICATE ON THE REDEMPTION FORM THAT YOU WANT TO PERSONALIZE YOUR PLATE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO SUBMIT THE FORM 83043. 4. YOU WILL KEEP YOUR EXISTING PLATE AND REPLACE IT WITH THE PERSONALIZED PLATE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT. |
The $15.00 annual personalized plate fee plus a tag replacement fee as well as any specialty tag fee (if applicable) is required for the initial order. Please allow at least 60 days for processing.
Each year, the $15.00 annual personalized plate fee as well as any specialty tag fee (if applicable) is added to the license plate renewal fee.

The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles reserves the right to cancel any reservation deemed objectionable or obscene. The personalization that you choose may be available when you search, but may no longer be available when your order is processed - you cannot reserve your choice. Therefore, you must choose two additional alternate choices when you submit your form.
PLATE CONFIGURATION

License plates with a center logo design such as the basic Florida license plate or the Save the Manatee license plate, may have up to 7 characters plus either a space or a hyphen.
Central logo plates can have up to 7 characters plus either a space or hyphen

License plates with a left-side logo design such as collegiate and sports
license plates, may only have up to 5 characters with no additional space or hyphen. 
Left side logos may have up to 5 characters with no additional space
